This is a collection primarily of dry mats concerning Clarence D. Martin's campaign for Governor of Washington in 1932. A dry mat is a way to make a dry mold of an impression from relief plates and forms for printing photographs and type. The collection contains an 8 x 6 inch metal plate for 3 photographs of Clarence D. Martin; 16 dry mats of photographs that were used for the campaign; 4 newspaper clippings of some of the dry mats and a 6 x 6 inch metal radiator emblem that states "Martin for Governor" with his portrait on it.
